BISMARCK, N.D. - A Bismarck man accused of forcing himself on a woman pleaded not guilty Monday.
Fifty-four-year-old Theodore Jenkins is charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition and interference with a telephone during an emergency call.
Jenkins is accused of offering the victim a ride from a gas station to the soup kitchen but took her to his home instead.
Police say Jenkins touched the woman and began to undress himself. The woman told police she tried to leave but he was taking her clothes off with force.
Officers say the victim tried calling 911 but Jenkins ended the call and threw the phone.
His trial is set to begin on November 15.
