North Dakota Joint Information Center says taxpayers have paid almost $33 million for response to DAPL protests

The North Dakota Joint Information Center says that, so far, taxpayers have shelled out just less than $33 million for the resources and costs needed for response support for the DAPL protests.
Equipment costs have surpassed the $4 million mark.
Law enforcement have arrested more than 700 people for various crimes.
All of this this has accrued over the last 188 days.
