No injuries in train derailment in Logan

LOGAN, N.D. (KMOT) – Six cars of a westbound Canadian Pacific mixed freight train left the rails near Logan early Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson for the rail company said the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. No one was hurt, and there is no threat to public safety.

Crews are currently on scene cleaning up the incident. The track appears to have been damaged, so crews are working to replace damaged parts.

The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
