MINOT, N.D. - For a group of North Dakotans with special needs, Friday night they were on top of the world.
Grace and Bella Burckhard were two Minot girls that prepped for the event, and their first prom.
More than 180 volunteers worked around the clock, all for one magical night.
Before the event the girls were treated to hair and make-up. They also got the red carpet treatment, creating memories these girls and their parents will never forget.
The girls joined 100 others, ages 14 and up, for a ‘Night to Shine,’ the program from the Tim Tebow Foundation that gives those with special needs the chance to dance the night away.
The foundation held proms in 50 states and 16 countries.
Minot's First Church Assembly of God worked with the foundation to put on Friday night’s dance in Minot. Fargo held another event.
