New election machines being tested by Burleigh County staff

BISMARCK, N.D. - A hundred new election machines arrived in Burleigh County and they are being tested by county staff.

Auditor Kevin Glatt says the machines are more secure and user friendly.

"It's nice having them delivered here on site cause we've had a chance to play around with them a little bit, for everybody in the staff to get acquainted with the new machines," said Glatt.

The machines cost between $3,000 and $8,000 and were paid for by the state.
