New cryogenic gas processing plant, 70-mile pipeline to be constructed in Williams County

WILLIAMS COUNTY, N.D. - Outrigger Energy just announced it’s building a new cryogenic gas processing plant and a 70-mile pipeline in Williams County this year.

The system will capture XTO’s produced natural gas in eastern Williams County and carry it to the processing plant west of Williston.

Construction will start mid 2020, where more than 300 people will be working on the project until the end of the year, when the processing plant becomes operational.

At that point, around 25 permanent jobs will be created to maintain the facility.

The company says this will reduce flaring in the Bakken as well as make the ethane available to be used in residential, commercial and industrial products.
