New Year's protest activities lead to more arrests for Dakota Access Pipeline protesters

MORTON COUNTY, ND - Protests activities have lead to more arrests for Dakota Access Pipeline demonstrators in southern Morton County this weekend.

Police say three people were arrested for criminal trespass after once again crossing the Cannonball River onto different Army Corps across from the protest camps on Saturday. One was also charged with fleeing.

No one was arrested after about 75 people set off fireworks on Turtle Hill.
