The show is hosted by entertainer, restaurateur and former American Idol winner Taylor Hicks.

The towns featured on this week's episode are Wishek, Buchanan, Devils Lake and Baldwin. They will be showcasing ways to use the state's staples in the kitchen, like honey, chokecherry, northern pike, barley and sunflower.

“I do, I love to cook and I love to use local foods whether it's something that you grow locally or you buy locally. It's fun to be able to showcase that we grow so many of America's foods right here in North Dakota. It's fun to experience those both in restaurants when you travel across the state but also to cook at home,” said Sara Otte Coleman of Coleman Farms.

You can watch the full segment on INSP on Friday Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
