ND DHS holds meeting to discuss electronic visit verification system

By  |

The North Dakota Department of Human Services is holding a video conference Thursday night to get public input on the implementation of an electronic visit verification system.

The system will make sure that health and personal care is being provided through phone calls and a new computer-based system, as opposed to in-person visits.

It complies with the 21st Century Cures Act mandated by the federal government

The conference will be held at 6 p.m. at several sites including 1015 S. Broadway in Minot.

There were similar meetings held on the system last month in Bismarck and Fargo. Those unable to attend can send comments to the department's Aging Services Division.
