ND Country Fest looks to build off last year’s success

NEW SALEM, N.D. - Last July, ND Country Fest kicked off its inaugural year. Monday, organizers announced how their trying to make year two better.

This year's Country Fest will be a three day, three night party under Salem Sue according to founder Luke Shafer. The festival hired Corey Bliss and Brad Rivers, both with experience running We Fest. Shafer says he is expecting 8,000 to 10,000 people per day this year.

“It's going to create a huge experience not only for our goers, but also an experience where people can come and enjoy North Dakota and experience what North Dakota has to provide for them,” said Shafer.
