Morton County officials say rising water makes cleanup efforts at DAPL protest camp difficult

Flooding is not the only safety issue at the Oceti Sakowin Camp, but the garbage cleanup effort, as well.

Morton County officials say that 82 roll-offs full of garbage have already been hauled away from the camp.

Morton County officials say the rising water is making it more and more difficult for trucks to get in to remove the debris.

They also say the garbage cleanup effort at the camp is only a quarter completed.
