The snow storm didn't impact the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

More than 92 percent of the construction on the pipeline is complete across all four states. The last portion remaining is in North Dakota.

Vicki Granado, the spokesperson, for Energy Transfer Partners says the company is still waiting on approval to begin drilling for the Lake Oahe crossing.

The boring process will take approximately 90 to 120 days to complete.
