More help needed in Watford City for storm damage cleanup

WATFORD CITY, N.D. - The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for more help to clean up the debris left behind in this week’s tornado.

Lt. Matthew Watkins with the department released a statement on Facebook asking for “as many volunteers as possible” at Prairie View RV Park.

The release says the county dump is open until 10 p.m. Wednesday and they want to get as much cleaned up as possible.

Watkins says clearing up the bulk of the debris will allow for other necessary activities to be completed at the park by utility personnel and the owner.
