WILLISTON, N.D. - One of the visitors on hand today at the Babe Ruth World Series in Williston was 2016 Miss North Dakota Macy Christianson. She read the Babe Ruth Code of Ethics to members of the teams from Torrance, California and Bismarck. She also threw out the first pitch at Sunday's game between West Fargo and New Jersey.

While she's preparing for the Miss America Pageant, Christianson also is partnering with the Department of Transportation over the upcoming holiday weekend.

"Right now we're working on a campaign that's going on over Labor Day, and it's called "Keep Life on Point, Don't Drink and Drive." So it has something to do with my dancing, they've incorporated that, and it's all about not drinking and driving over the Labor Day weekend," says Christianson.

Christianson leaves in less than two weeks to compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City.
