The Mountrail County Sheriff's Department has released more information about a 36-year-old Michigan man that was found dead near Ross, N.D., on June 20.

Deputies responded to an 911 call after 11 p.m. about an oil field injury accident. When they arrived on scene 36-year-old Paul William Green II was found lying face down by a pipe rack with no pulse and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mountrail County Sheriff's Department says that Green appeared to have entered the area known as the "red zone" of the boom crane that was operating and was struck with a pipe.

Green was taken to the forensic medial examiners office in Bismarck for an autopsy.
