Minot's YWCA needs more donations to prepare for winter

MINOT, N.D. - With the temperatures dropping, the need to help those with less is a priority for Minot's YWCA.

This winter, the need for donations becomes more important especially for the YWCA. Lauren Moore, the executive director for the YWCA says they need cleaning products to keep the shelter clean as well as hygiene products for their clients. Moore also says that she is impressed with how the community is becoming more aware of this growing issue.

“Homelessness is definitely an issue that no one wants to speak of but it’s definitely an issue here in Minot so it's wonderful that the community is being more aware of this issue,” said Moore.
