MINOT, N.D. - Minot celebrated Independence Day with the annual 4th of July festival at Roosevelt Park.
Families at the park got to take in a day of music, food and fun.
The festival returned to Roosevelt Park last year following a brief hiatus.
The Minot City Band performed a series of patriotic tunes.
Speakers from Minot Air Force Base, Minot Police and Fire thanked the community for its support.
“As a member of the United States military for over 26 years, I've never experienced the support as I have witnessed in this city and this state. The members of Minot Air Force Base are fortunate to have Minot citizens' constant support,” said Col. Colin Connor, 91st Missile Wing Commander.
Those in the park also got to take in a concert from country singer and North Dakota native Lexi Wyman.
