MINOT, N.D. - Some groups in Minot are joining forces to educate the public on the dangers of vaping.
It's a collaborate effort between Minot's Vaping Task Force and the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Committee at Minot State.
They're hosting a talk at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall this evening. They will feature presentations from vaping researcher and UND professor Frank White along with displays from first District Health and more.
“It’s a different type of addiction it has become an epidemic because the tobacco companies have taken that e-juice and they have made thousands of different flavors, “ said Tobacco Cessation Coordinator Bonnie Riely.
The event begins at 7 p-m. It is open to the public and free to attend.
