Minot State sees slight decrease in 2019-20 enrollment

MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University is reporting a slight decrease in first-day enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year.

A spokesperson for the university says the University has a 2019 first-day head count of 3,104 students, down 2.7 percent from 2018.

They say those numbers could change, as some students enroll after classes have begun, and enrollment is not officially reported to the North Dakota University System until the fourth week of classes.

The university says it has topped 400 freshman for the second straight year, and the second highest total in six years.
