Minot Public Schools to get public feedback on overcrowding

MINOT, N.D. - Minot Public Schools will look to the public for suggestions on how to deal with overcrowding in schools.

Superintendent Dr. Mark Vollmer confirmed with Your News Leader that the district intends to hold public input meetings on the matter, though no meeting dates have been set yet.

The district has seen a slight increase in overall enrollment from last year to this year, and kindergarten enrollment is about on par with last year’s, though multiple schools are trying to figure out how to accommodate with growing classroom sizes.
