BISMARCK, N.D. - A rummage sale at Sixteen03 brought shoppers and vendors from around the state. But the event also brought in one woman who is fundraising for her daughter.
Roxy Alyea's daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was one. She is now five years old and has been chosen as one of the stars for the Great American Bike Race.
Her mom wants to raise money to purchase equipment, home ramps to accommodate wheelchairs, or vehicle modifications.
"Well, we're going to do anything that is going to make her live life to the fullest," said Roxy.
Emma's team in the Great American Bike Race is called "Team Emma's Gems." To donate to Emma and to GABR, visit: gabr.sanfordhealth.org
