Organizers are planning a ‘March for our Lives’ in Minot and Bismarck later this month, in conjunction with similar walks in Washington, D.C. and across the country, aimed at improving school safety and pushing for legislation to end gun violence.
Organizers for the Minot march say they will march on Sat., March 24 at 12 p.m., starting in downtown Minot near the Federal Court House and will make their way to the Scandinavian Heritage Park.
They plan to meet downtown starting at 11:30 a.m. that day.
According to the ‘March for our Lives’ website, the Bismarck march will take place at 10 a.m. at the State Capitol.
Additional details on the marches will come out as the march draws closer.
