MANDAN, N.D. - Mandan's aging ball fields, tennis courts and play areas to the south need a makeover say city park officials.
They ask users and fans to meet Monday night about the Southside Master Plan.
Park officials welcome feedback about how to change up the layout of the ball complex.
Options include a new Memorial Ball Park, more playgrounds, new courts, adding a drainage system and expansion.
"The Southside Master Plan's goal is to examine the lighting here, the safety aspect, vehicle access, pedestrian access and have more for recreation space in this area," said Kelly Churchill, marketing specialist for the Mandan Park District.
Project costs will be given at the meeting. It starts 6:30 p.m. at Mandan City Hall.
