Mandan man pleads not guilty for firing warning shots inside home

MANDAN, N.D. - A Mandan man accused of firing a gun in a home pleaded not guilty in court on Monday.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Brandon Kostelecky pointed a 9 mm pistol at woman’s face in December.

Police say while the woman was hiding in the bathroom, Kostelecky fired the pistol in the house.

Kostelecky will appear before a jury in Morton County for a two-day trial June 3.

He is charged with terrorizing, felonious restraint, reckless endangerment, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
