Mandan man charged for breaking Burger King window with pool cue

MANDAN, N.D. - A Mandan man was arrested for breaking a Burger King drive-thru window with a pool cue.

Twenty-six-year-old Zachary Ricker is charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief.

The affidavit states on Aug. 1, surveillance cameras at Mandan Burger King captured a man breaking the glass with a pool cue.

Police identified Ricker from the footage.

According to the affidavit, Ricker reversed his car into the drive thru window. He then began striking the window with a black case continuing a pool cue.

When questioned, Ricker says he took a shot from a bartender at a Bismarck Bar, and doesn’t remember anything after.

Damage to the window was estimated over $200.

Ricker’s bond is set to $1,500 and to have no contact with the restaurant.
