MANDAN, N.D. - A Mandan resident started a new business called Path to Pono.

Sandy Thompson spoke at One Million Cups about branching out as an individual entrepreneur.

Thompson started her business to help people experience serenity in the workplace or in their personal life.

"Doesn't anybody just want to be happy? Either in their personal life or in their work life. I want to have an impact, I want to help people. I've always been in the helping profession," said Thompson.

Path to Pono is another way Thompson can help others, either in leadership, workforce development or family members who have been impacted by addiction.
