Mandan Public Schools get grant for welding and agriculture programs

MANDAN, N.D. - Marathon Petroleum is cutting a $35,000 check to Mandan schools for the Welding and Agriculture Mechanics Program at Mandan High School.

MPS said the money will improve the safety equipment in the CTE labs and updating the equipment to resemble that in the industry closely. The grant will benefit about 150 Mandan High School Students this year.

In a press release on Thursday, Ron Day, Marathon Petroleum’s Government and Public Affairs Manager, said:
