Man pinned between two vehicles in Minot car accident

MINOT, N.D. – A Minot man suffered extensive injuries to the lower half of his body after being pinned between two vehicles in a car accident on Minot’s southwest side Monday afternoon.

Minot Police say that shortly before 4 p.m., 22-year-old Marquell Salters got out his car to assess damage from a separate accident in the 400 block of 6th Street SW, when his car began to roll north down the hill.

Police say Salters tried to use his body weight to stop the car but was unable, and the car collided with another car while crossing Burdick Expressway, continued rolling north, and hit a second car, pinning Salters between the two.

Salters was taken to Trinity Hospital for his injuries.
