Man hurt in apartment altercation in Minot

MINOT, N.D. – Minot Police investigators say a 24-year-old man suffered a serious injury to his right arm during an apparent altercation at an apartment Wednesday morning.

Police say they responded to a report shortly after 11 a.m. of a man bleeding profusely while chasing a second person around in northwest Minot.

They say dispatchers received a call of a man inside a northwest Minot gas station bleeding from his arm.

Responders found the 24-year-old victim and put a tourniquet on his arm before he was taken to the hospital.

Investigators say they believe the victim was arguing with another man at a northwest Minot apartment.

The two men began to fight, and the victim suffered a serious injury to his right arm with a sharp object.

The man was treated and released from the hospital.

Police say no arrests have been made and they continue to investigate.
