Local Minot resident honored for saving three year old

The City of Minot honored Bob Johnson, a retired Minot firefighter, who in January saved the life of a young girl named Josephine at her third birthday party.

The council describes Johnson's heroics:

"Jo jumped in the big pool without her life jacket on she cannot swim. And I am not sure how long she was in the pool. But Robert saw her and jumped in the pool fully clothed and pulled her out,” says Mark Jantzer, the council president.

The family and Bob reunited for the first time since his life saving rescue.
