Libertarian Party of North Dakota qualifies for ballots

BISMARCK, N.D. - Secretary of State Al Jaeger says he is officially recognizing the Libertarian Party of North Dakota as a political organization.

This means the party will get its own portion of the ballot for candidates in both the primary and general election.

Party leaders gathered signatures on a petition from at least 7,000 qualified voters in the state to get on the ballot.
