BISMARCK, ND- House bill 1040 would give businesses a tax credit for purchases of automated technology. The bill sets $500,000 for the credit each year of the biennium.
A business could write off 20 percent of the equipment cost, but in order to get the credit they would have to prove a 5 percent or more increase in output, wages, or workplace safety.
Up next, house bills 1417 and 1519 aim to enhance the amount of medical marijuana products for cancer patients. They also aim to add more conditions such anxiety disorder and autism spectrum disorder to the program.
