BISMARCK, ND- The house is hearing senate bill 2224. It's a bill that would create a bio-science innovation grant program.
The grant would have designated money from the state treasury to support bio-technology in areas including crop genetics, bi-fuel, and medical products. The bill is scheduled for 9:30 this morning.
Senate concurrent resolution 4002 is also heading to the house today.
That resolution urges Congress to address the rising costs and availability of medications and health care for people with diabetes. That bill is scheduled for 9 a.m.
