BISMARCK, ND- The state legislature wraps up it's work-week today with several items on the agenda.
First, house bill 1470 would grant an employee request for family leave because of the death of a child. That bill is scheduled for 8 a.m. this morning.
Next, house bill 1193 would prohibit cities and counties from raising the minimum wage above the state's minimum pay. The North Dakota minimum wage is currently $7.25 AN hour. That bill is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
And finally senate bill 2221 would exempt records of communication between legislators and public employees from open records law. If this bill passes you would need to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to get this information. That bill is scheduled for 9 a.m. this morning.
