GLEN ULLIN, N.D. - Deputies say two people were arrested after large amounts of drugs were stolen from a pharmacy in Glen Ullin over the weekend.
The Morton County Sheriff’s Office says the break-in happened Saturday morning when the two suspects forced their way through the back door of the pharmacy.
Deputies say the narcotics included oxycodone, OxyContin, fentanyl, and liquid morphine.
The Metro Area Narcotics Task Force and the sheriff’s office identified the two suspects through surveillance video.
MCSO isn’t releasing the names of the suspects until they’re charged.
Morton County Sheriff’s Office PIO, Maxine Herr says both suspects are male. She says deputies arrested a 30-year-old Glen Ullin man and a 28-year-old Mandan man in connection to the break-in.
She says one suspect was arrested Wednesday and the other was arrested Thursday around noon.
Both suspects are being help at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center.
KFYR-TV has requested information on the breakdown of how much was stolen, but the sheriff’s office says they are still doing follow-up and don’t have that information yet.
