BISAMRCK, N.D. - Bismarck Parks and Recreation is looking to add some upgrades to Kiwanis Park.
The plan is to add new fitness equipment for the outdoor space. That includes fitness pods and a bench that will give park visitors a series of exercises that you could do while in the recreation area.
Officials are hoping it gives people more reason to be outside and to get active.
“We are looking to increase activity in that park give people other options for fitness and exercise,” Bismarck Parks and Rec Operations Manager David Mayer said.
The cost of the project is about $40,000, part of which the organization is hoping to get from a Community Development Block Grant.
