Keeping history alive at Dakota Gun Show

BISMARCK, N.D. - For more than 50 years the Dakota Territory Gun Collectors Association has held gun shows.

As the organization grows older, less of its original members remain. Now, DTGCA founders are passing on the history of the club and guns to the next generation.

"That's our heritage, it's our past (that's) one of the things and the principles in what we are that's made this nation great," said
Lenard Cave, DTGCA founder member.

Event organizers say it was a record year for vendors and Cave says he will come back for as long as he can because he enjoys showing his collection.
