BISMARCK, N.D. - The homeless in Bismarck and Mandan will soon have a voice to raise money.
Kat Perkins, a singer on season 6 of the NBC show 'The Voice', is returning to her home state on March 8.
Perkins will perform at a benefit concert for The Welcome House, to help raise money for homeless people in the Bis-Man area.
"We're really excited because we get to include the families that are staying here, we're allowing them to go for free. They'll be able to meet Kat Perkins and actually get her autograph and pictures taken with her. We're really excited to have her come and support us," said Pamela Scherf, director of The Welcome House.
The concert starts at 7 o'clock at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. Pre-ordered tickets cost $35 for adults and $25 for kids.
Ticket cost at the door is $40.
