KMOT Pets of the Week: Neptune and Rory

MINOT, N.D. - Each week we feature two adoptable animals from the Souris Valley Animal Shelter.

Our first pet is Neptune.

Neptune is two years old, who as our reporter Meghan says is one of the friendliest cats she has ever met. He loves to be held and sit high up on your shoulder. The shelter says Neptune is always purring and is just a happy little man who wants to be where ever you are. He would do well with other cats and kids and doesn't seem to mind dogs either.

The next pet is Rory.

Rory is the epitome of a dog who is getting a second chance at life, and she is the sweet girl. She is a Tervuren Shepard, two to three years old and is already spayed. She has high energy, so she would love an active family with a big back yard. Rory would do well with kids and would love to have a dog friend to play with.

If you would like to adopt either of these pets, the Souris Valley Animal Shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday.
