BISMARCK, N.D. - One man's trash is another man's treasure. That was the theme at Buckstop Junction this morning. Treasures included everything from old tomato cans, to street signs and reclaimed furniture all for sale at the annual Junk'n at the Junction.
Vendors from across the state came to sell their merchandise. Proceeds will go toward the preservation of the aging buildings at Buckstop Junction. The event also attracts craftsmen, like Irene Polly. Irene takes old and worn household items and creates something new.
"I just took a piece, don't know what I'm doing and I just tackle it and whatever happens, happens. Than I sit back like '"Wow'"," said Irene Polly, Dickinson.
Buckstop Junction has more than 15 historic buildings.
