Jamestown man arrested in Fargo after September pursuit

FARGO, N.D. - The Jamestown Police Department says Levi Shawn Guthmiller has been taken into custody in Fargo.

Maj. Justin Blinsky says Guthmiller, who is wanted on numerous warrants, was taken into custody. According to the Cass County Jail, Guthmiller was taken in on Failure to Appear, Methamphetamine possession with the intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Guthmiller was involved in a September pursuit with area law enforcement and escaped. On Oct. 11, an officer attempted to stop Guthmiller when he was spotted in Jamestown.

Police say Guthmiller struck their vehicle and fled police, eluding them. Police alerted the public that Guthmiller may have been armed and issued a CodeRED alert.
