A report of an intoxicated man at Pub 21 in Bismarck ended in threats to a Bismarck police officer.

Police say 48-year-old Robert Rist from Beulah was too intoxicated to take care of himself and was taken to detox.

Officers say once they were at the hospital, Rist was pulling out his IV and yelling at police and medical staff.

BPD says he became irate and told an officer he would beat him up and threatened to kill him.

According to records, Rist was arrested for terrorizing and preventing arrest on a felony charge.
