I-29 open from Grand Forks to Fargo

UPDATE: The North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened I-94 eastbound and westbound lanes from Bismarck to Fargo.​

​They have also lifted the No Travel Advised for portions of eastern North Dakota, including are Jamestown, Valley City, Grand Forks, and surrounding areas.


ORIGINAL STORY:The North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened northbound and southbound lanes of I-29 from Grand Forks to Fargo.​

They have also lifted the No Travel Advised for portions of eastern North Dakota, including Devils Lake, Fargo, Wahpeton, and surrounding areas.

Travel advisories from the NDDOT and NDHP:

I-94 westbound and eastbound lanes from Bismarck to Fargo remain closed. Motorists are not allowed to travel on a closed road.​

A No Travel Advised remains in effect for eastern North Dakota, including are Jamestown, Valley City, Grand Forks, and surrounding areas. They say drivers should not travel due to hazardous conditions.
