The temperatures in North Dakota make it impossible to grow feed for your livestock in the field year round, but one company says they have a solution.

It's a innovative way you can grow fresh wheat and barley for your livestock all year.
HydroGreen Global Technologies created a six-level growing system to grow crops for livestock in just six days.
You plant one level a day and harvest one level a day, that way you continually have fresh crop you've grown to give to your livestock 365 days of the year.
The largest system HydroGreen sells will produce 4,000 pounds of fresh feed everyday.
"Nutritionally this feed is going to be about an 18 to 19 percent protein. It's going to have about 95 percent energy of corn without the starch load that you're going to get in a grain. It's a really neat feed that works for a lot of different animals," said Brandon Peterson, business development HydroGreen Global Technologies.
Peterson said typically most producers will put up a building on the ranch for the system specifically keeping the temperature between 68 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit with 65 percent humidity.
