MINOT, N.D. - An 18-wheeler made its way to Rose Hill Cemetery Thursday morning to make a very special delivery.

Crews loaded 441 wreaths off of a truck for this year’s Wreaths Across America.

The sponsored wreaths will be put out on the headstones of fallen veterans this weekend.

"We have some who have sponsored wreaths, who will go on section twelve for the veterans that we have. And why we've chosen section twelve was because out of the three veterans sections we have here in the cemetery, that section is the only one upright stones," said Richard Reuer, Minot Wreaths Across America coordinator.

Wreaths will be placed on the gravestones of veterans who fought in the civil war, Spanish war, World Wars I and II, the Vietnam War, The Korean War, and one veteran that served in Iraq.

An outdoor ceremony will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m. sharp. It will run roughly 20 minutes. Enter through Gate 2 from 11th Ave SE. Carpooling is highly encouraged. This event is brought to you by the Minot American Legion and the Magic City Civil Air Patrol.
