MANDAN, N.D. - Huff Hills is getting ready for the season. Staff were on the hill this weekend wrapping up some off-season maintenance.
One of the projects for Saturday was hanging 71 chairs back onto the green lift. Later they'll have to prep the snow making equipment to get the hill ready to shred. We talked to staff about what they need to open.
"It's looking chilly, so we're hoping right after Thanksgiving if not, Thanksgiving weekend would be cool, but the main thing is getting snow made. That's what we need so we can go ride. Hopefully we get a bunch from mother nature, but we'll see," said Lucas Speidel, Hill Manager.
You can keep an eye on their website for the snow report at huffhills.com.
