(Valley News Live) - Highway troopers have caught several vehicles driving on roads that were closed because of the dangerous conditions created by the heavy snow.

According to North Dakota Highway Patrol, at around 1 p.m. Friday troopers stopped several vehicles near Jamestown on Interstate 94.

The vehicles went past gates and did not pay attention to weather and road reports, according to troopers.

One vehicle reportedly had a small child inside.

A motorist entering a closed road is subject up to a $250 fine.

Several motorists have also gotten stuck trying to make it around closed roads.
