High speed chase of stolen car ends when driver loses control

A high speed chase ended this afternoon after the driver lost control trying to avoid spike strips on Highway 6 north of St. Anthony.
The chase began in Fort Yates where Bureau of Indian Affairs identified a stolen car, according to a press release.
Police say a 27-year-old Bismarck women drove the stolen car at up to 90 miles-per-hour.
The woman avoided two attempts from authorities to pop her tires strips before losing control.
An ambulance took her to a local hospital where she was treated and released into custody.
