MINOT, N.D. – A pair of former nurses for a hospice program in Minot have pleaded guilty in a drug diversion investigation.
According to court records, 40-year-old April Beckler and 47-year-old Kim Kochel changed their pleas Wednesday in District Court in Minot.
Investigators say the two committed the crimes between December of 2012 and September of 2014 while working for Trinity’s hospice program.
Kochel and Beckler both pleaded guilty to charges of endangering a vulnerable adult and criminal conspiracy. The Courts dismissed a theft of property charge against each.
The pair will be sentenced July 26.
Prosecutors dropped charges against a third person initially tied to the case.
