Guilty plea in Minot luring minors case
A Minot man arrested as part of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation has pleaded guilty to luring minors by computer.
According to court records, 36-year-old Rashon Bryant pleaded guilty Friday.
Investigators say Bryant communicated over a mobile app in March with what he thought was a 14-year-old ‘boy,’ and asked to meet him for sex.
The ‘boy’ was an undercover ICAC officer.
The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
Bryant will remain in custody, pending sentencing in February.
The charge is a B felony, which carries with it a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
